Dr. Kondrad and the staff at First State have been a crucial part of my recovery. I called with debilitating neck and back pain that was affecting my performance at work, and they were able to get me in that day. I had never been to a chiropractor before, so Dr. Kondrad took the time to evaluate and educate me on my injuries and gave me a plan of action to follow including stretches and exercises for home. He even was able to target and treat other areas of my alignment that I didn't realize needed attention (but afterwards felt way better). The entire staff has been great and positive to connect with! Three weeks ago I couldn't turn my neck to look over my shoulder, and now I have minimal to no pain and almost full range of motion! I would 100% recommend this team over others because of their professionalism, wealth of knowledge, and sheer enjoyment to interact with. Thank you Dr. Kondrad!
A few weeks ago, I locked my back or trapped a nerve and was in immense pain. My regular chiropractor could not see me right away so I called the office of Dr. Kondrad. After a few sessions with him, not only my back was 100% better but we started working on a 2 year old shoulder injury. For the first time in 2 years I finally feel I am getting somewhere and might swim and do yoga again! He is a very good doctor and a great listener. He is also trained in Active Release Therapy and acupuncture which ads a lot to the equation for pain and stress relief. I have been so please I sent my husband who has been very pleased as well. I highly recommend this office!
Working with Dr. Kris Kondrad for acupuncture and chiropractic care is wonderful. I had almost considered a surgical alternative before I tried acupuncture for excessive sweating, and I'm glad I didn't opt for the surgery. After one session of acupuncture, I noticed significant improvement. The staff at First State Health & Wellness are wonderful to work with.
