I began working here in May 2017 as the Education Program Coordinator. I love my job and all that we provide for the community. I was deeply involved with the summer camp; my 8 yr old attended and had a blast. They had many fun and educational activities along with lots of fun off site field trips. The daycare program is exceptional; the teachers truly care about the children in their care...it's noticeable by the smiles of the kids and the fun that they have. I couldn't ask for a better place to work or a better place to send my child.
Run far! Daycare is negligent and untrustworthy! They have the children in a basement and there is a keypad to enter so they kno exactly when someone is coming and are able to do whatever to the children and lie! I had 3 children that attended this facility and over a time frame of 5 months one child hair was uprooted from her scalp with no incident report. They said she scratches her hair. I later found out that another child did it. One child ingested hand sanitizer. They didn't call Poision control or 911! They called me and I followed up with her physician. Last incident my 2 year was sent home with a black black eye and no incident report! I contacted the state to investigate. I reached out to the president director, we were on the phone for 3 mins and I heard loud typing in my ear so I asked her was she documenting the information I was giving her. She replied "I'm at work, we work addition jobs". They are horrible for the safety of your child dont send them here!It could be fatal next. I feel horrible that I allowed my children to atten for such lengthy time and so many incidents.
Great summer camp!
I am currently employed as the Assistant Director of Education, I began in May 2017. I also have a 20 month old granddaughter that also attends the child care center. The staff is awesome and work together as a team for the best interest of every child. The atmosphere of the child care center is very welcoming and professional, the classrooms are very colorful and inviting.
This community center does not have air conditioning! It was very hot!!!!!!!!
